Pehratek was started in 1979 in Minnesota by an audiologist and has been recognized as an innovator in Visual Reinforcement Audiology (VRA) for over 40 years. 

Over those 4 decades, Pehratek has brought a number of innovations to not only VRA, but pediatric hearing assessment and the broader audiology field. Some of these innovations include wireless VRA systems, video VRA systems, smart remotes for VRA and all hearing assessment.
