Pehratek Limited Warranty + Service Policy

Pehratek Products, LLC, an Inspiration Medical Technology company, warrants Pehratek VRA systems against defects in materials, workmanship, and operational functionality under normal use and proper installation, subject to the terms below.

Warranty Coverage Period

Pehratek VRA systems purchased on or after January 1, 2025 are covered as follows:

United States installations: Complete Pehratek VRA systems purchased and installed in the United States are covered for three (3) years from the original date of purchase.

International installations: Pehratek VRA systems purchased or installed outside the United States are covered for one (1) year from the original date of purchase.

Replacement parts, cables, batteries, and accessories: Unless otherwise stated in writing, replacement parts, cables, batteries, and accessories purchased separately are covered for ninety (90) days from the original date of purchase.

Covered Products

This limited warranty applies to Pehratek 3D Toy VRA systems, HD Video VRA systems, center units, receivers, transmitters/remotes, and sensors supplied as part of a complete Pehratek system, and other Pehratek-supplied system components, unless otherwise stated.

What Pehratek Will Do

For a covered warranty claim, Pehratek may, at its discretion, repair the product, replace the product or defective component with a new, refurbished, or comparable component, provide replacement parts, or provide another commercially reasonable remedy.

Replacement components may not be identical to the original component if the original component is no longer available, but they will be functionally comparable for the intended Pehratek VRA system use.

Warranty repair or replacement does not restart or extend the original warranty period. Replaced parts may become the property of Pehratek.

What Is Not Covered

This limited warranty does not cover damage, defects, or service issues caused by:

  • Misuse, abuse, neglect, accident, impact, liquid exposure, contamination, or improper handling

  • Improper installation, relocation, wiring, mounting, setup, or calibration not performed or approved by Pehratek

  • Unauthorized modification, repair, disassembly, or use with incompatible third-party components

  • Power surges, improper electrical supply, lightning, fire, flood, natural disaster, or other external causes

  • Normal wear and tear, cosmetic damage, lost components, or consumable items

  • Batteries, cables, accessories, or replacement parts beyond their stated warranty period

  • Customer software, media, content, data, network configuration, or facility-specific installation conditions

  • Use outside Pehratek’s instructions, specifications, or intended operating environment

This warranty covers Pehratek system functionality. It does not guarantee clinical outcomes, patient responses, test results, or diagnostic conclusions.

Warranty Registration

Warranty registration helps Pehratek provide faster support, confirm system details, and maintain accurate service records. Registration is recommended but is not the only way to establish warranty eligibility. Pehratek may request proof of purchase, serial numbers, installation details, or other reasonable documentation before providing warranty service.

Pehratek may first request troubleshooting information, photos, serial numbers, purchase documentation, or a description of the issue. Do not ship any product to Pehratek unless Pehratek has provided return instructions or a return authorization.

Shipping

For covered warranty claims within the United States, Pehratek will provide reasonable return shipping instructions. Unless Pehratek states otherwise, the customer is responsible for properly packing the product and for shipping the product to Pehratek or the designated service location. Pehratek will pay standard return shipping to the customer for products repaired or replaced under warranty.

For international warranty claims, the customer or distributor is responsible for shipping, duties, taxes, customs charges, brokerage fees, and related transportation costs unless Pehratek agrees otherwise in writing.

Pehratek is not responsible for damage or loss during shipping caused by improper packaging.

Non-Warranty Service

If Pehratek determines that a product or issue is not covered by warranty, Pehratek may offer repair, replacement parts, troubleshooting, or other service at then-current rates. Pehratek will request customer approval before performing paid non-warranty service.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pehratek is not responsible for incidental, indirect, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of revenue, loss of use, facility downtime, substitute equipment costs, or other business losses.

Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranties or the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some limitations may not apply.

This limited warranty gives customers specific legal rights, and customers may have other rights that vary by state or jurisdiction.
