When a child stops turning for the same clip, change the clip. The HD Video VRA puts a bright screen at each side of the booth with 25+ videos on board and a USB port for adding your own. LED lights around each screen add a second attention cue, with or without video playing.

The monitors are about 2 inches deep and hang on the included articulating arms, so they fit a tight booth and swing out of the way when the room is used for something else. Mount it and plug it in. That is the install. No computer, no software, and no calibration.

Your videos, your library

Every Series 3 system ships with 25+ animated clips loaded, and the library keeps growing. Download more from the Pehratek video library, or add your own: copy an MP4 to a USB stick, plug it into the monitor, and it shows up in the list. Loading a clip takes about five minutes the first time.

•    System A: adds an HD video center monitor.

•    System B: adds the Dog center with lights, sound, and movement.

•    System C: adds the lighted Duck center.

Pick IR or RF control on this page. IR uses line of sight from the remote to the receiver and is not affected by nearby radio devices. RF needs no line of sight and offers four channels. Either one can be changed later with a conversion kit.

What each setup includes

Every option below uses the same remote and the same monitors. The choice is how many positions you want lit up.

Standalone
Left and right HD monitors. The complete two-position setup most clinics start with.
System A (with Video Center)
Adds a third HD monitor at center, so you can pull attention back to midline between trials.
System B (with Dog Center)
Adds the animated dog centering unit at center: lights, sound, and motion.
System C (with Duck Center)
Adds the lighted duck centering unit at center.
Single Monitor
One monitor on its own, for adding a position or replacing a unit you already run.

VDS-3000 questions

  • Will it work with our existing audiometer?

    Yes. The VDS-3000 runs independently of the audiometer using the Pehratek remote, so it works with any audiometer, and there is no computer or software to install.

  • Can we load our own video content?

    Yes. The system ships with a preloaded library, and you can add your own clips to the memory card and load them in seconds.

  • How hard is installation?

    Most clinics mount and cable a system in an afternoon. Everything needed is in the box, and our Texas-based team walks you through it by phone or video if you want company.

  • IR or RF: which should we choose?

    IR is included and works on line of sight. RF adds 100 dollars, uses four channels, and suits rooms where the remote will not always have a clear path to the monitors. Systems are field-convertible either way.

  • Can we add a centering unit later?

    Yes. Centering units are sold separately and run on the remote you already own, so you can add one at any point without replacing the system.
