Ordering, Quotes + Payment
Can I buy Pehratek through my current hearing-equipment supplier or technician?
Yes. Pehratek VRA systems are available through national hearing-equipment suppliers and many local independent dealers and technicians. You can purchase directly from Pehratek or through a supplier you already work with. Contact us if you need help finding a supplier.
Can we pay by purchase order?
Yes. We accept purchase orders from clinics, hospitals, universities, school districts, and other institutions.
Can I get a quote before I order?
Yes. Tell us the system, the signal type, and the centering unit you want, and we will send a formal quote your purchasing department can work from.
What payment methods do you accept?
Online checkout takes card, PayPal, Shop Pay, and Google Pay. Institutions can also pay by purchase order.
Can you handle tax-exempt orders?
Yes. Send us your exemption certificate with your order and we will process it tax exempt. We can also provide tax documents and a W-9 if your purchasing department needs them.
What if I am buying for a school district?
We work with school districts across the country. You may be able to purchase through one of our purchasing-group relationships, or we can work with your district to complete its vendor approval process.
We can only buy from approved vendors. Can we still buy from Pehratek?
Yes. Send us your vendor requirements and we will work with your purchasing team to complete the needed forms. Pehratek is already an approved vendor with many institutions and school districts.
Can you provide the paperwork our purchasing department needs?
Yes. We regularly provide formal quotes, vendor forms, tax documents, tax-exempt paperwork, warranty information, and W-9s. Send us your requirements and we will complete what your team needs.
Shipping + Delivery
How soon will my VRA system ship?
Most orders ship within one to two business days. Most U.S. orders ship by UPS Ground unless you request a different shipping method.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is calculated at checkout from your destination and the service you choose. There is no minimum order, and drop shipping carries no extra fee.
Can you ship directly to multiple clinics or locations?
Yes. We drop ship to individual clinics and locations at no extra fee. Send us the addresses with your order and we will route each shipment.
Do you ship outside the United States?
Yes. Pehratek systems ship to clinics in more than 90 countries. Contact us for the international shipping options that fit your order.
Compatibility + What You Receive
Do I need a computer, software, or calibration?
No. Pehratek VRA systems operate without a separate computer or VRA software, and the VRA system itself does not require calibration. Your audiometer and other calibrated testing equipment continue to follow their normal calibration requirements.
Will Pehratek work with our existing audiometer?
Yes. Pehratek VRA systems can operate independently from the audiometer using the Pehratek remote, so they can be used with any audiometer. Direct audiometer integration is also available for select systems.
What comes with the system?
Your system includes the VRA units, Pehratek remote, power supplies, receiver or sensors, and the main cables and mounting hardware needed for a typical installation. Exact contents vary by system.
Installation
How hard is installation?
Most installations are straightforward. Mount the VRA units near your sound-field speakers, connect the system to power and the Pehratek receiver or sensor, and complete the simple setup steps. Installation guides are included to walk you through the process.
How long does installation take?
It depends on your booth, the mounting you choose, and how far the cables have to run. The included guides walk through each step, and most clinics complete the work without a service call.
Can someone install it for us?
Yes. Your audiometer, sound-booth, or hearing-equipment service technician is a good place to start. A qualified local installer can also handle mounting and cable routing. We provide installation guides and can help answer questions.
Is professional installation included in the price?
No. The price covers the complete system: the units or monitors, the wireless remote, the signal receivers, and the cables and mounting hardware for a typical installation. Installation labor is not included. Your audiometer, sound-booth, or hearing-equipment service technician is a good place to start, and we are happy to answer questions along the way.
90-Day Trial + Returns
How does the 90-day trial work?
You have 90 days from delivery to try your Pehratek VRA system. If it is not right for your clinic, you can return it during that period with no restocking fee. You are responsible for the original shipping and return shipping.
What if the system is not right for our clinic?
Return it inside the 90-day trial period for a full refund. There is no restocking fee. You cover the original shipping and the return shipping.
How do I start a return?
Contact us before you ship anything back. We will confirm the return, tell you how to pack the system, and send you the return address.
Warranty, Parts + Support
Can I get replacement parts and help after the warranty ends?
Yes. Replacement parts are available for most Pehratek systems manufactured within the last 10 years. We can provide troubleshooting help by phone or video, and we are happy to work with your local technician or Biomed team. Pehratek stocks replacement remotes, receivers, sensors, power supplies, cables, toy sets, and other system parts.
What warranty comes with the system?
Pehratek VRA systems include a 3-year warranty. Certain cables, batteries, and accessories have shorter warranty periods. See our warranty page for full details.
