Every VDS-3000 Series 3 now takes custom content. Load any of the 24 videos below, or add your own, in about five minutes. Start with the short video, then scroll down to build your library.
Three steps
- Download the videos you want to your computer.
- Copy them to a USB stick, in the folder shown in the video.
- Plug the stick into the VRA. The system picks them up.

Specialty content
Made for children who don't turn for the standard clips. Big shapes, plain backgrounds, strong edges.
General library
Animals, vehicles, nature, celebration.

Add your own
Anything your phone or camera records will work. Here is what plays best.
- Format
- MP4 file (H.264 video). This is what a phone, screen recorder or editing app exports by default.
- Size
- 1920 x 1080, landscape. Other sizes play but may show black bars.
- Frame rate
- 30 fps. 60 fps works too.
- Length
- 30 to 90 seconds. The system loops, so short is fine.
- File size
- Under 200 MB per clip.
- Sound
- Optional. Most clinics run video silent in the booth.
- File name
- Name it so you can find it on the tablet. Example: Trucks - Yellow Digger.mp4. To control order, start the name with a number: 01, 02, 03.
- Loading
- Copy the file to a USB stick in the folder shown in the video at the top of this page. Plug the stick into the VRA.
- iPhone video
- If a video from an iPhone won't play, open Settings > Camera > Formats, choose Most Compatible, and record again. Or convert the file with the free HandBrake app on any computer.
