Single Unit VRA

Fitting rooms and programming rooms may only have space for one unit, not a wall of them.

The Single Unit VRA is one complete reinforcer, video or toy, with its own remote and receiver. It is the same monitor or toy unit that ships in our other systems, so when you want the other side, you add it.

No computer, no software, and no calibration.

Who it fits

  • Clinics that run VRA with the loudspeaker and reinforcer on one side.
  • Hearing aid and cochlear implant fitting rooms, where aided sound-field checks happen outside the booth.
  • A second test room, a satellite office, or a backup for the main booth.
  • Early intervention and school programs that test in a quiet room rather than a booth.
  • Clinicians who want a reinforcer on a stand they can bring close to a young infant.

Both run on the same remote and the same receiver. The choice is what the child looks at.

What you control from the remote

  • Video or lights on the monitor; sounds, motion, and light patterns on the toy.
  • A timed ON interval, or ALL-ON for distraction mode.
  • The same 8-button remote as every Pehratek system, so nothing new to learn when you add a side.

Mounting

Wall, articulating arm, desktop stand, or a rolling stand you buy locally. Both units are VESA-mount.

Infra-Red
Uses line of sight from the remote to the receiver, and is not affected by nearby radio devices.
Radio Frequency
Needs no line of sight and offers four channels.

Systems are field-convertible either way.
