Cochlear VRA: a full setup on a rolling stand

Two reinforcers and a wireless remote on a stand that rolls where you need it. No wall brackets, no cabling into a booth, and nothing to uninstall when the room changes.

wheel it in, test, wheel it out

Two builds, same stand

Both pair one HD video monitor with a second reinforcer. The difference is what that second reinforcer is.

  • Cochlear VRA System

A VDS-3000 HD video monitor and an XM-5000 3D toy unit, mounted on the rolling stand. Two different kinds of reinforcement in one cart: animated video on the screen, and a lit, moving figure in the toy box.

  • Cochlear VRA System 2

A VDS-3000 HD video monitor and an LPA-600 animated dog, mounted on the rolling stand. The dog lights up, moves, and barks, which makes it useful for pulling attention back to midline between trials.

Why put it on wheels

A mounted system belongs to one room. A rolling one belongs to whoever needs it that morning.

  • Moves between rooms. Roll it into whichever booth or suite has the appointment.
  • Nothing to mount. No wall brackets, no drilling, no cabling run into the booth.
  • One wireless remote. The same 8-button SMART remote drives both reinforcers.
  • Any audiometer. The system runs independently, with no computer and no software to install.
  • Two kinds of reinforcement. Switch formats when a child stops responding to the first one.
  • Leaves with you. A rented or shared room does not have to be modified to use it.

Cochlear VRA questions

  • How is this different from a standard VRA system?

A standard Pehratek system mounts left and right units on the walls of a booth and stays there. These builds put one HD video monitor and one second reinforcer on a rolling stand instead, so the whole setup moves between rooms. The reinforcers and the remote are the same hardware.

  • Which build should we choose?

Pick the XM-5000 build if you want a second full toy reinforcer that can carry a test on its own. Pick the LPA-600 build if you mainly want something lit and moving to bring attention back to midline between trials. If you are unsure, tell us how you run a session and we will say which one fits.

  • Will it work with our existing audiometer?

Yes. The system runs independently of the audiometer using the Pehratek remote, so it works with any audiometer, and there is no computer or software to install.

  • Can we add a wall-mounted system later?

Yes. Everything runs on the same wireless remote, so a rolling build and a mounted system can live in the same clinic. Our team can work out what to add rather than replace.

  • Can we try it first?

Yes. Use it for up to 90 days and return it for a full refund if it is not right, with no restocking fees. Return shipping is the only cost on your side.
